Summer internship for the 2018-20 batch at XLRI saw 100% placement with recruiters offering roles for all the 362 students.
More than 95 companies across the spectrum had come up with roles in Consulting, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Operations, Business Development, Human Resource (HR) and Industrial Relations.
The highest offer was Rs 1.65 lakh per month.
The major recruiters were The Boston Consulting Group, AT Kearney, Accenture Strategy, EY, Deloitte, KPMG and PwC in the consulting sector.

P&G, Colgate-Palmolive, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Nestle, Johnson & Johnson, Mondelez, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, ITC India and AB InBev were prominent in the FMCG sector.
Financial Services sector saw Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Avendus Capital, JPMorgan Chase, CitiBank, Kotak Wealth, Maitreyi Capital Advisors, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank and Edelweiss.
In General Management, major recruiters were Tata Administrative Services, Aditya Birla Group, RP Goenka, Mahindra and Bharti Airtel.
General Electric, Shell, Samsung Electronics, Bharti Airtel and Star also offered good roles to the students.
Uday Damodaran, chairperson (placements) at XLRI termed it as a good year for summer recruitments.
Saying that the companies have reaffirmed their trust in the XLRI brand and student community, he expressed the hope that the relationship with the recruiters would go from strength to strength and continue to be mutually beneficial in the years ahead.
He said students found excellent roles this year, especially in Consulting and Operations domains.
Boston Consulting Group offered good roles to 13 candidates. Students also secured operations roles in P&G, RB and Johnson & Johnson.

This was in addition to the strong placements in the human resources and marketing sectors in which XLRI has traditionally shown exceptional recruitment results, he added.
