The official Prep online practice exams 2018 is now available for NMAT by GMAC, a computer-based objective type multiple-choice exam, accepted as a criterion for admission by several management institutes in India.

GMAC had acquired ownership of the exam from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) in March 2015. It was subsequently rebranded as NMAT by GMAC.

The specially designed official online practice exams will acquaint the candidates with the test structure and help them prepare better for the exam. The online practice exams follow the same structure as the actual NMAT by GMAC exam, GMAC said in a press release.

“The 4th edition of NMAT by GMAC Official Prep aims to provide relevant information to candidates to help them develop study plans and remove any fear related to the testing procedure,”

The online practice will have the same look and feel as the real test. It will have retired questions from past NMAT to enable the candidates to understand the format, length and structure of the test.

The first prep test will be offered for free. The test has 120 questions in the same format as the actual exam. Candidates will get two more chances to attempt the test for free. Answers or explanations will be provided for the 120 questions.

At a later date, GMAC will release official exam packs of two and three tests papers. These packs will comprise two more practice exams with 240 questions from previous exams.

GMAC says that out of these 240 questions, 120 are never-before-seen questions with answer explanations and scaled score. The packs are available for Rs 599 plus taxes.

The scaled score provided for the two practice exams of the Exam Pack will provide useful insights on the candidate’s level of preparedness.

“The 4th edition of NMAT by GMAC Official Prep aims to provide relevant information to candidates to help them develop study plans and remove any fear related to the testing procedure,” said Vikram Shah, Director, Product Management, GMAC.
