IIM Rohtak Final Placement: Average CTC Rs 11.85 LPA, 32% Students Choose Marketing

The Indian Institute of Management Rohtak saw 100% placement for the PGP Class of 2019 with an average CTC of Rs 11.85 lakh per annum and the highest domestic CTC at 24.13 LPA.

Marketing domain attracted the maximum number of students at 32%. The profiles offered included that of brand manager, market research analyst, product manager, marketing consultant and business development managers.

Major companies including EY, Deloitte, and KPMG made a return to the market offering roles in Consulting and General Management. About 30% of the students opted for roles in the domain, IIM Rohtak said in a press release.

The top recruiters were Yes Bank, Dabur, BPCL, Tata Steel, IndiaMart, Amul, ACG worldwide and Aditya Birla Group.

Major companies including EY, Deloitte, and KPMG made a return to the market offering roles in Consulting and General Management. About 30% of the students opted for roles in the domain, IIM Rohtak said in a press release.

IT & Analytics domain offered roles for 21% of the students opted for such roles. Major recruiters in this domain were Cognizant, Accenture, Axtria and Mu Sigma. Finance had 12% of students taking up various roles. Kotak Mahindra, HDFC, Yes Bank, ICICI Bank, and SBI offered profiles including financial management, wealth management to credit analysis and Investment management.

Non-Banking financial firms including Indus Valley Partners, Arcesium, Future First and Thomson Reuters also offered the students multiple roles.

More than 40 companies participated in the placement process. Meanwhile, 45 students had secured PPI/PPOs by some top recruiters. Around 110 students were hired by EY, KPMG, ICICI Bank, Deloitte and Cognizant, the release said. IIM Rohtak will be releasing the Final Placement report audited by CRISIL later this year.
