IIM Raipur Expands International Partner Network in Europe

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur has expanded its international partner network with the addition of three more European Institutes– Management Center Innsbruck (Austria), International School of Management, Dortmund (Germany), and University of Economics in Bratislava in Slovakia.

With the new additions, the number of IIM-R’s international partners has gone up to 15.

The Management Center Innsbruck with AACSB recognition has collaboration agreements with about 200 universities across the world including IIM Bangalore, IIM Kozhikode and IIM Indore in India.

In Germany, the International School of Management (ISM) has become the second partner after HHL Graduate School of Management, Leipzig.

ISM, considered to be among the top B-schools in Germany, has six campuses, at Dortmund, Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne & Stuttgart. It also has more than 170 international partners and is a member of the prestigious EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development).

ISM’s Master’s program in International Logistics & Supply Chain Management is well known.

In France, IIM Raipur has partnership with three institutes. These are Grenoble Ecole de Management, Grenoble, IESEG School of Management, Paris and Groupe ESC Troyes in Champagne.

University of Economics in Bratislava (UEBA), founded in 1940, is among the oldest public universities with more than 230 partnerships across the world under various frameworks of cooperation. UEBA offers programs in Business Economics and Information Sciences that makes it attractive for those in the Finance domain.

In Greece, IIM R has a partnership with ALBA Graduate Business School, Athens. The Alba, apart from its regular MBA program, also offers an MBA in Shipping.

In Russia, IIM R has tie ups with Kazan National Research Technological University and NRU Higher School of Business. It also has an agreement with IPADE Business School in Mexico City.

In Asia, it has partnership with Yonsei University, Seoul. In Australia, it has an agreement with the University of Newcastle as well as with Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand.

Meanwhile, Prof. Vinita Sahay, Chairperson, International Relations, says the international exchange program would provide the PGP students not only exposure to management studies but also insights into European culture and heritage in art, architecture, music, literature and philosophy.
