The Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur has announced the launch of the PGPx (Post Graduate Programme for Working Executives), specifically designed for middle/senior level professionals with a minimum 3 years of industry/professional experience.
Spanning over a duration of 18 months, the program, in a blended format with classes held on Saturdays and Sundays, allows participants to learn without disrupting their office work. It aims to prepare the participants for leadership roles through pedagogy designed by IIM Sambalpur faculty and exposure to an excellent industry ecosystem in the region.
You need to have a minimum of 3 years Post Qualification industry/professional experience as on the last date of application. The last day for submission of application is January 14, 2019.
Besides developing key skills and relevant knowledge, the participants will be made capable of challenging conventional wisdom and be a part of the IIM Network and faculty from top business schools.
The learning Process involves, flipped classroom with online lectures and more classroom activities, innovative approach in the pedagogy of learning and an Immersion Program.
Eligibility Criteria
You must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent qualification (10+2+3 system of formal education) in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent percentage.
Valid GMAT/CAT/GRE (scores during the last 5 years)/XMAT of IIM Sambalpur. Those not having the score sheet of GMAT/CAT/GRE will have to appear for XMAT.

The PGPx form can be download from the website www.iimsambalpur.ac.in. Candidates are required to send the Scanned Copy of Application Form along with self-attested documents (through email to PGPx Admission Office).
The documents are a copy of GMAT/CAT/GRE mark sheet, a copy of SSC, HSC, Bachelor’s Degree, Master – Degree Certificates and Mark sheets, a copy of SC/ST/NC-OBC (if applicable), Disability Certificates (if applicable), Experience Certificates and NOC from current Employer. Shortlisted candidates will have to produce their original testimonials at the time of Selection Process
The fee for the program is Rs 9,00,000 + GST which includes tuition fee, course material, and library resources only. Hostel and mess charges, if any, shall be borne by the participants.

The temporary campus of IIM Sambalpur is at Jyoti Vihar, Burla – the education hub comprising the Sambalpur University and the Medical and Engineering University in Odisha. Nestled in Barapahad (12 hills), the campus lies at one end of Hirakud Dam – the world’s longest earthen dam, surrounded by mountains, verdant forests, and Debrigarh wildlife sanctuary.
The campus is surrounded by a large number of big industries such as MCL, HINDALCO, Vedanta, TATA’S, NTPC and L&T which provide opportunities on real-life experiential learning for the students.
