0

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, also known as SNAP, is held every year by Symbiosis International University (SIU) for MBA admissions to 13 institutes during December with the results being announced in January, the entire admission process being over by the second week of March.

SNAP is a 2-hour-long objective type paper and pen test. Unlike the PGDM diplomas offered by the IIMs and several private Business Schools, the Pune-based SIU says it grants MBA degrees at the end of a two-year course.

Eligibility For SNAP

Graduates in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to apply and appear for the admission test. Courses that require specific discipline/ subject specialisation need to be checked for eligibility as given by the respective Institute. A candidate who has completed qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

The registration process is conducted online at the website www.snaptest.org. The registration fee for SNAP 2015 is Rs. 1,500. The registration for SNAP 2015 started in the first week of September and will continue till late November.
